Clean HTML Code = Higher Google Rank, and Higher AdSense Rank!

The debate over Valid HTML and CSS affecting your Google Rank has gone on forever, even though google state More Content, Less Code = More Relevant!
So I took the liberty of contacting Google, Their reply was:

Please note that clean HTML codes and CSS help improve rankings because they make it easier for our crawlers to find information.
